what happens to kpop idols when they disband. In a sense it doesnt seem like a bad decision at all as it allows them to stay away from the spotlight which usually brings a lack of privacy. Im sure small companies have trouble getting the money to properly promote them but Im just confused on what happens to the idols afterwards.
Relating to the infamous 7-year jinx most K-pop groups will usually disband. True idols start working way earlier but at the same time while most people are figuring their lives out in their 20s idols are just singingdancing until their late 20s. Sometimes theyre able to mend things and other times idols will leave the group and look for a fresh start elsewhere.
The Korean government came out with a law back in 2009 restricting all contracts involving K-pop idols to a maximum of 7 years.
Especially if they have the talent for the industry. I hate kpop stans. Some K-Pop idols may have had their careers beginning within the entertainment industry but some have ultimately decided that it wasnt a path for them to continue taking. Like how chocolat just pretty much disappeared from the scene what are they doing now.
